Last week I returned to my favorite South Garda track in Lonato, for the first round of the WSK Euro Series. The competition was tough mainly because of the infernal heat. I had a really great quali, I managed to set the second time in my group and 4th place overall. 66 drivers overall. In qualifying races I showed that I have the pace and I am confidently fighting for the position with much more experienced riders. Unfortunately, in one of the heats, bad luck, I had collision, I dropped down to the end, but I fought, finally reached the finish line 7. After the race I was disqualified due to a damaged rear bumper and received 23 penalty points. In the final of the competition I started from the 23rd place. I’ve rode fully mobilized, in a kart perfectly prepared by WARD Racing. I moved up to 14th position.Great quali, good pace throughout the weekend and I have the first points scored in WSK. I am satisfied, I feel more and more confident in the OKJ. Now it’s short time to rest and I’m getting ready for the second round in Sarno!
